A Historic Transformation in the Heart of Tulsa
The George Kaiser Family Foundation is spearheading a major revitalization project in Tulsa’s Brady District, breathing new life into the Universal Ford and Fox Hotel buildings. The $16 million renovation will introduce a vibrant mix of apartments, restaurants, office spaces, and a brew pub, reinforcing the district’s position as a cultural and entrepreneurial hub.
Lilly Architects is honored to play a role in this historic restoration, ensuring that the buildings retain their original character while accommodating modern functionality. Our commitment to preserving Tulsa’s architectural heritage aligns seamlessly with this project’s mission to enhance the downtown experience for residents, artists, and entrepreneurs alike.

The Fox Hotel will soon house an expanded Antoinette Baking Co. location, while the Universal Ford building will welcome a new restaurant and brew pub. Additionally, 31 apartments, some reserved for participants in Teach for America and the Tulsa Artist Fellowship, will contribute to the district’s growing residential appeal. The project also includes 5,000 square feet of office space tailored for startups and an entrepreneurial hub in partnership with the Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation.
