Tulsa’s arts and music scene is making waves nationally, with Lilly Architects at the heart of three landmark projects featured in Architectural Digest.

Tulsa is undergoing a cultural renaissance, and Architectural Digest has taken notice. A recent feature highlights the city's transformation into a hub for art and music, spotlighting three projects with deep architectural significance—each of which proudly bears the mark of Lilly Architects.

One of the standout projects, the Oklahoma Museum of Popular Culture (OKPOP), is set to open in 2023. Designed by Lilly Architects in collaboration with Overland Partners, this 60,000-square-foot museum will be a beacon of Oklahoma’s rich musical and artistic heritage, located directly across from the iconic Cain’s Ballroom.

Also highlighted is the Church Studio, an iconic recording space originally founded by Leon Russell. After years of neglect, Lilly Architects spearheaded a meticulous multi-million dollar restoration, bringing the legendary studio back to life while honoring its history as a creative haven for music legends like Tom Petty, Eric Clapton, and Willie Nelson.

The Bob Dylan Center (BDC), designed by Olson Kundig, cements Tulsa’s reputation as an international cultural destination. While the primary architectural credit goes to Olson Kundig, the city’s larger design and artistic vision—including the revitalization of the arts district—is bolstered by local firms like Lilly Architects, committed to preserving Tulsa’s legacy and fostering its future.
