A Spanish Colonial Revival Transformation
A Bold Architectural Reimagining
Originally built in 1928, this two-story home with a 600-square-foot basement is undergoing a complete transformation, embracing the elegance of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture. The existing facade is being entirely reworked, replaced with a rusticated stucco finish that reflects the textured, handcrafted quality of traditional Spanish homes. A clay tile roof will add both authenticity and durability, while new Spanish Colonial-style entry and interior doors will reinforce the home’s refined aesthetic.
This project represents a full-scale reinvention, reshaping the home’s architectural identity through expert craftsmanship and carefully curated materials.
Refined Interiors with Timeless Craftsmanship
Inside, every space is being thoughtfully redesigned to align with the home’s new architectural language. The original wood floors will be carefully removed and reinstalled, preserving their warmth within the transformed interior. Walls will feature a smooth skim coat plaster finish, bringing depth and sophistication to the spaces.
The first floor, which includes an entry foyer, formal dining room, living room, pottery room, kitchen, and sunroom, is being enhanced with rich textures and carefully selected materials. Every detail is designed to reflect the craftsmanship and refined elegance of Spanish Colonial design, balancing tradition with modern comfort.
Upstairs, the second floor maintains its existing layout while integrating new design elements that elevate the home’s aesthetic. The primary suite, secondary bedroom, and guest bath will be refined with subtle details that enhance the home’s character. A 150-square-foot outdoor patio extending from the second floor will offer a private retreat overlooking the backyard.
Expanding the Estate with Outdoor Living
Beyond the main residence, the transformation extends to the entire site, creating a cohesive and estate-like presence. A detached two-car garage is being designed to complement the home’s architectural details, reinforcing the Spanish Colonial aesthetic. An outdoor swimming pool and a thoughtfully designed plaza will provide spaces for relaxation and entertainment, seamlessly integrating indoor and outdoor living.
The landscape is carefully planned to enhance both beauty and functionality. A terraced staircase will lead to the front entry, reinforcing a grand sense of arrival. A gated enclosure will separate a secure parking area from the main driveway, adding both privacy and convenience.
A Vision in Progress
More than a renovation, this project is a full architectural reinvention. By embracing Spanish Colonial Revival architecture with meticulous attention to detail, this home is being redefined as a refined and timeless retreat. Thoughtfully crafted from the inside out, it will stand as a bold transformation that seamlessly blends historic inspiration with a fresh, enduring presence.
